Brian Burns

Brian Burns was born April 23, 1998, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His upbringing in Broward County placed him in the heart of one of the most productive high school football regions in the country. His family's support has remained central to his career, and his lanky frame at 6'5" with long arms emerged early as a defining physical trait.

Burns attended American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida, where he was a top regional recruit. He signed with Florida State and spent three seasons with the Seminoles, developing into an All-ACC pass rusher before declaring for the NFL Draft following his junior season.

The Carolina Panthers selected Burns 16th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent his early career in Carolina, earning Pro Bowl selection in 2022 after double-digit sack production, before a trade to the New York Giants in 2024 placed him in a new market with a long-term contract.

Burns has been selected to multiple Pro Bowls and established himself as one of the more productive pass rushers of his generation.
