Carson Wentz
Minneapolis Minnesota Vikings • NFC NFC North
North Dakota State · 12 yrs pro · Age 33
Biography
Carson Wentz burst onto the NFL scene in 2016 as the second overall pick out of North Dakota State, immediately delivering an electrifying MVP-caliber 2017 season with the Philadelphia Eagles before a torn ACL ended his campaign. Philadelphia went on to win Super Bowl LII with Nick Foles under center, and Wentz's role in the franchise shifted from that point forward.
Subsequent stops in Indianapolis, Washington, the Rams, and Kansas City have traded on his early-career ceiling and big arm, and he's now in Minnesota. The physical tools remain — size, arm strength, mobility — and when healthy, Wentz can still make throws few quarterbacks in the league can match.
