Tristan Wirfs

Tristan Carson Wirfs was born January 24, 1999, in Mount Vernon, Iowa, a small eastern Iowa town. His upbringing was defined by his mother Sarah raising him and his siblings alongside her work in a close-knit community. His Iowa roots and his family's blue-collar work ethic have remained central to Wirfs's public identity throughout his ascent to NFL stardom.

Wirfs attended Mount Vernon High School in Iowa, where he was a multi-sport athlete and star offensive lineman. He signed with Iowa and became one of the most productive offensive linemen in Hawkeye history, earning first-team All-Big Ten honors and winning the Big Ten Lineman of the Year award before declaring for the NFL Draft.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Wirfs 13th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he has become one of the most dominant offensive tackles of his generation. He protected Tom Brady during the Buccaneers' Super Bowl LV championship run as a rookie and has since earned multiple first-team All-Pro honors, continuing his development into a franchise cornerstone.

Wirfs has been selected to multiple Pro Bowls and earned multiple first-team All-Pro honors, with widespread recognition as one of the best two offensive tackles in the NFL alongside Penei Sewell.
