Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews was born September 6, 1995, in Scottsdale, Arizona, and his path to NFL stardom is made more remarkable by his lifelong battle with Type 1 diabetes, diagnosed when he was nine years old. His parents Martha and Paul have supported his diabetes management throughout his career, and Mark has become one of the NFL's most visible advocates for diabetes awareness, working closely with the American Diabetes Association and Dexcom to promote management and treatment options.

Andrews attended Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, where he was a state champion and four-star recruit.
