Chris Jones

Christopher Anthoney Jones was born July 3, 1994, in Houston, Mississippi, a small town in the north-central part of the state. His upbringing was shaped by small-town Mississippi values and a large extended family that remained central to his identity throughout his ascent to NFL stardom. He has remained closely connected to his Houston community even as his career has brought him championships and national fame.

Jones attended Houston High School in Mississippi, where he was a top regional recruit. He signed with Mississippi State and spent three seasons with the Bulldogs, developing into a first-round NFL Draft prospect before declaring early.
