C.J. Stroud

Coleridge Bernard 'C.J.' Stroud was born October 3, 2001, in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and his path to NFL stardom is rooted in one of the more moving personal backstories in the modern league. His father Coleridge Bernard Sr. was incarcerated when C.J. was a teenager, leaving his mother Kimberly to raise four children alone in the Inland Empire. Stroud attended Rancho Cucamonga High School, where he had a standout senior year that elevated him from relative obscurity into an Elite 11 quarterback and Ohio State commit.
