Biography
Kirk Cousins was a fourth-round pick out of Michigan State in 2012, taken by Washington in the same draft that produced Robert Griffin III in the first round. After developing behind Griffin and eventually taking over as the starter, Cousins played through the franchise tag twice before signing the NFL's first fully guaranteed contract with Minnesota in 2018.
Cousins spent six seasons as the Vikings' starter, compiling multiple Pro Bowl selections and consistent top-10 passing production before an Achilles tear in 2023 reshaped his career arc. He subsequently signed with Atlanta and now finds himself in Las Vegas, bringing his trademark rhythm-passing game and experience to the Raiders. Known for his mechanics and accuracy in structure, Cousins has thrown for more than 40,000 career yards.
