CeeDee Lamb

Cedarian DeLeon 'CeeDee' Lamb was born April 8, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His family's story was profoundly shaped by Hurricane Katrina, which displaced them when CeeDee was six years old; they eventually relocated to Richmond, Texas, outside Houston. Lamb has spoken often about the resilience the displacement required from his family and how that experience shaped his own drive to succeed. His mother Kita raised him alongside his siblings and remains a central presence in his life.

Lamb attended Foster High School in Richmond, Texas, where he became a top national recruit and was named a Parade All-American. He signed with Oklahoma, where his three seasons produced one of the most prolific receiving careers in program history. His junior year earned him All-American recognition and the Biletnikoff Award finalist status, and he finished as a consensus first-round NFL prospect.

The Dallas Cowboys selected Lamb 17th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he stepped into the offense immediately. By his third season he had eclipsed 1,300 receiving yards, and his 2023 campaign — 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns — set Cowboys single-season records and earned him first-team All-Pro honors.

Lamb has established himself among the NFL's elite wide receivers, with multiple Pro Bowl selections and a reputation for elite route craft, versatility from any alignment, and some of the best hands in the league. His ability to produce from the slot or outside has made him the centerpiece of the Cowboys' passing attack alongside Dak Prescott.
