Clemson · 12 yrs pro · Age 30
Biography
Deshaun Watson won a national championship at Clemson in 2016 behind one of the greatest individual performances in college football history, then went to the Houston Texans as the 12th overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. In Houston he developed rapidly into a three-time Pro Bowler with a dual-threat game that drew frequent comparisons to the league's elite.
His career took a dramatic turn when he was traded to Cleveland in 2022 under the shadow of civil lawsuits and an eventual league suspension. The Browns committed to him with a historic fully guaranteed contract, and his return to the field has been uneven — impacted by injuries and inconsistent play. Watson remains one of the most physically gifted quarterbacks in football when healthy.
