Justin Fields

Justin Skylor Fields was born March 5, 1999, in Kennesaw, Georgia, and grew up in the Atlanta suburbs in a family that shaped his athletic development. His father Pablo played college football at Eastern Kentucky, and his sister Jessie became a college softball player. Fields's upbringing in one of the most competitive high school football regions in the country, combined with his father's influence, placed him on a clear Division I trajectory from his early teens.

Fields attended Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he was the nation's top quarterback recruit and an Elite 11 selection. He signed with Georgia but transferred to Ohio State after one season behind Jake Fromm. At Ohio State he blossomed into a Heisman Trophy finalist and led the Buckeyes to the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, finishing his college career with one of the most productive two-season runs in Big Ten history.

The Chicago Bears selected Fields 11th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. His Bears tenure was defined by inconsistent supporting casts and coaching turnover, though he became known for the most dominant single-season rushing campaign by a quarterback in NFL history (1,143 rushing yards in 2022).
