Kyren Williams

Kyren Williams was born August 26, 2000, in St. Louis, Missouri. His upbringing in the St. Louis area shaped his football development, and his family's emphasis on both athletics and academics placed him on a Division I recruiting track. His Missouri roots have remained central to his identity as he has developed into a reliable NFL starter.

Williams attended St. Louis University High School, one of Missouri's most storied private school football programs, where he was a productive running back and track athlete. He signed with Notre Dame and spent three seasons with the Fighting Irish, earning Big Ten running back consideration and becoming one of the most productive backs in recent Notre Dame history.

The Los Angeles Rams selected Williams in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, pick 164 overall. After a limited rookie year, he emerged as the Rams' lead back starting in 2023 and has since produced consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons as the featured runner in Sean McVay's offense.
