Biography
Jerry Marsalis Jeudy was born April 24, 1999, in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and grew up in the Broward County region of South Florida — one of the most competitive high school football markets in the country. His family faced tragedy early in his life when his sister passed away from a seizure disorder, a loss that has deeply shaped his approach to family and his public commitment to health-focused charitable work.
Jeudy attended Deerfield Beach High School, where he was one of the top receiving recruits in the nation and a five-star prospect. He signed with Alabama and won the 2018 Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver, playing a central role on the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship team. His route running out of Alabama drew comparisons to the greatest technicians in NFL history.
The Denver Broncos selected Jeudy 15th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. His career in Denver was uneven — the Broncos cycled through multiple quarterbacks and offensive coordinators during his tenure — though he flashed Pro Bowl-caliber ability in key stretches. A trade to the Cleveland Browns in 2024 has given him a fresh start in a new system.
Jeudy has produced multiple 750-plus yard receiving seasons and established himself among the more technically refined route runners of his generation. His combination of release package, stem work, and uncovering ability at the top of routes has made him a matchup problem despite the quarterback variability in Denver.
His career résumé includes the Biletnikoff Award, a College Football Playoff National Championship, and multiple productive NFL seasons despite challenging quarterback circumstances. His move to Cleveland has paired him with Deshaun Watson and given him an opportunity to match his technical excellence with more stable quarterback play.
Off the field, Jeudy has been open about his sister's death and has supported health-focused charitable initiatives in both South Florida and Denver. He has maintained close ties to his family and remains active in Broward County community work. He maintains endorsement partnerships with Nike's Jordan Brand and other major brands, and his combination of elite college pedigree and NFL talent has kept him firmly in the conversation of the most technically polished receivers in the league.
